Designing sunglasses that wont fall off, and can handle any adventure you throw at them. Sunglasses focused for users with an active lifestyle, that wont comprimise functionality and purpose for style and comfort.

A Mechanism
Designing a compliant mechanism that could lock and slide the part along the arm of the sunglasses. This feature creates an effective and smooth sinching mechanism on a small scale.

Features
The LOCKLINE system eliminates unnecessary components while integrating adjustable bendable ear hooks that conform precisely to your unique ear anatomy, enhancing stability without creating pressure points. Its ultralight tension cord secures eyewear in place during intense activity, while low-profile sliders provide seamless compatibility with helmets and hats across multiple discipline-specific designs for alpine, trail, water, and urban environments.

Creation Process
From beginning ideation and development, the idea was to create the perfect eyewear for the active user.
An adaptable and feature-filled pair that would not fall off your face, be comfortable, and still look good.
Concepts brought out exploration into new and possible solutions. The two ideas that survived were the first Dragonfly and Firefly concepts: an in-arm integrated compliant mechanism-based strapping system in sport-specific sunglasses.
